Pastore Peak, standing at 6,209 meters (20,365 ft), is one of Pakistan’s most renowned peaks, attracting climbers and adventurers from across the globe. This expedition combines the thrill of summiting Pastore Peak with a breathtaking trek to K2 Base Camp and an unforgettable return journey over the Gondogoro La Pass.
The K2 and Gondogoro La trek is often regarded as one of the world’s finest trekking experiences. Along the way, you’ll encounter iconic landmarks such as the Trango Towers, Masherbrum, Gasherbrums, Broad Peak, and the majestic K2. The route traverses the famous Baltoro Glacier and leads to Concordia—aptly named the “Throne Room of the Gods” for its unparalleled 360-degree panorama of towering 7,000-meter peaks and awe-inspiring views of K2.
The adventure begins in Islamabad, Pakistan’s lush green capital city. Upon arrival at Islamabad International Airport, your guide will greet you and transfer you to your hotel for some well-deserved rest. Later in the day, you’ll attend a briefing about the trek. The next morning features a scenic flight to Skardu, where you’ll catch your first glimpses of Nanga Parbat, K2, and other Himalayan and Karakoram peaks. Skardu serves as the gateway to Baltistan and offers a serene environment to finalize preparations for your journey.
