Egyptian, Peak Adventures ~ Guided *TREK*CLIMB*SOAR*SAIL

Day 1 – Sharm Elsheikh / Saint Catherine (Airport Transfer).

In the evening, you’ll be transferred to Saint Catherine in an air-conditioned vehicle. Approximately – 11:30pm, you’ll begin your journey to Moses Mountain, a significant religious site near Saint Catherine in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, revered by followers of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. 

Accompanied by a knowledgeable Bedouin guide, you’ll ascend the sacred mountain. The climb offers two routes: the Steps of Repentance, a challenging 3,750-step trail carved by monks, and the longer, gentler Camel Path. After reaching the summit and descending around 7:00am watching the sunrise, you’ll visit St. Catherine Monastery, one of the oldest active Christian Monasteries in the world, located at the base of Mount Sinai. 

The monastery is dedicated to St. Catherine, one of Alexander’s rulers.

Day 2 – Cairo

Luxury Breakfast, Hotel and then transfer into Cairo (overnight).

Day 3 – Cairo (Skydive, Paramotor and Explore)

Embark on the ultimate adventure and experience the thrill of skydiving or paramotoring over the iconic Pyramids of Giza! This exhilarating experience combines the excitement of freefall with breathtaking views that will leave you speechless. As you soar high above Giza, you’ll witness the majestic pyramids in all their splendor, standing proudly as symbols of ancient Egyptian civilization. Jumping from 13,000 feet with a USPA-certified instructor, who will manage everything for you, you’ll dive into the vast sky, feeling the rush of wind through every fiber of your being. As the minutes tick by, your heart will race in anticipation as you experience the freedom and weightlessness of freefall, taking in panoramic views of the golden sands, the sprawling city, and the awe-inspiring pyramids beneath you. Afterward, enjoy a 45-minute camel ride through the desert near the pyramids. Your flight will last 10 to 15 minutes, and you’ll receive a video to capture this unforgettable moment.

Day 4 – Aswan and the Nile 

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before we transfer you to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan, which takes about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to board your Nile cruise ship, offering a unique way to experience Egypt’s rich historical and cultural heritage while enjoying the stunning views of the Nile. Lunch will be served on board. In the afternoon, you will visit the Aswan High Dam, a remarkable structure built to control the Nile’s annual flooding, generate hydroelectric power, and provide irrigation water. You’ll also see the Unfinished Obelisk, which was started during the reign of Hatshepsut but left incomplete due to cracks discovered in the stone. Afterward, enjoy a delightful dinner on board in Aswan. Overnight aboard the cruise.

Day 5 – The Cruise Continues

Enjoy breakfast on board before embarking on an optional tour to the Abu Simbel temples. These two massive rock temples were built by Ramses II in the 13th century BC during the New Kingdom period to commemorate his reign and honor the gods. One temple is dedicated to Ramses II himself, while the other, the Nefertari Temple, was built in honor of his beloved wife. After lunch on your ship, continue your journey to Kom Ombo, where you’ll visit the Temple of Kom Ombo. This unique temple is dedicated to two gods: Sobek, the crocodile-headed god associated with fertility, the Nile, and military strength, and Horus the Elder, the falcon-headed god symbolizing the sky, kingship, and protection. In the evening, continue cruising towards Edfu, where you’ll enjoy dinner on board. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 6 

Start your day with breakfast before visiting the Temple of Edfu, located in Upper Egypt. This temple, dedicated to the god Horus, was built during the Ptolemaic period. Afterward, enjoy a scenic sail to the Esna Lock, once a key religious and trading hub in ancient times, with lunch served on board. Continue your journey to Luxor, where you’ll have dinner aboard the ship. Overnight on board.

Day 7 – Valley of the Kings, Pharaohs and Nobles

Enjoy breakfast before heading to the West Bank of the Nile to explore the Valley of the Kings, a royal burial site for pharaohs and powerful nobles. With over 60 tombs, it includes the final resting places of famous pharaohs such as Tutankhamun, Ramses II, and Seti I. Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, built by the queen herself and dedicated to the sun god Amun-Ra. The temple features three large terraces connected by long ramps, leading to a series of colonnades and sanctuaries. Its stunning design and location create a breathtaking visual effect, especially from a distance, where it appears to rise out of the cliffs. Then, see the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous stone statues standing on the west bank of the Nile River. Afterward, you will be transferred to Luxor airport for your flight to Cairo, which takes about one hour.

Day 8 – The Wonders Continue

Depart from Cairo at 7:00 AM, heading toward the Bahariya Oasis, where you’ll arrive around 11:30 AM. After enjoying lunch, you’ll switch vehicles and take our land cruiser cars to begin your desert adventure. Your first stop will be the Black Desert, located 25 km from the Bahariya Oasis. Here, we’ll make a stop at the highest mountain in the Black Desert for a panoramic view of the vast landscape. Then, continue your journey to the Crystal Mountain, the first stop in the White Desert National Park. Take time to admire the stunning crystal stones and the mountains covered in crystals.

Next, we’ll drive to one of the most scenic spots in the Al Agbat area for a photo opportunity. Afterward, enjoy some fun sandboarding before heading into the White Desert. Your first stop will be to explore the Mushroom Rock in the Old White Desert. Then, we’ll drive to the New White Desert, making a stop at a panoramic viewpoint in the middle of the desert. As you explore the New White Desert, you’ll discover various rock formations resembling camels, chickens, trees, and rabbits. Finally, we’ll reach our camping site in the White Desert, where you can enjoy a traditional dinner under the stars and sip Bedouin tea around the fire.

Day 9 – Sunrise

After breakfast and watching the sunrise, we’ll drive back to the Bahariya Oasis, making a stop at the Cold Spring along the way. Then, we’ll continue our journey back to Cairo.

Day 10 – Goodbyes / Transfers

Enjoy breakfast before being transferred to the airport for your flight.
